The main character, Ex, sees visions in the walls that depict not only the future, but people's self deceptions. Is it the house or is it Ex?

The Ticket is a true story of another bad day on Sydney trains, as retold by Shane's friend - in real time - from a cafe in inner city Camperdown.

It tells the story of Shane's lone struggle to beat the unhelpful forces of the State Rail Authority.
